Medals galore at RoadNats 26.
The club portion of the Road Nats is done and dusted and the swans have left with a bag of medals.
Kicked off with a bang with the boys getting an agonisingly close 2nd in the club TTT by 0.4 seconds. Joe, Lyndon, Henry and Marty smashing the course but came up short.
The Club Crits were run and done. 2 teams in the 90+ category and a last minute scramble to find enough kits for all didn't slow us down. Even if Henry had to wear a female size small, someone owes him a beer for taking one for the team.
The race was hot from the start with power meter graphs reading like a Himalayan geographical survey. The swans were heavily represented in almost everything.
Joe ended it all off by taking out the win after a massive 2 lap solo breakaway held off the chasing pack. Clarkey leading the bunch charge to take out 2nd.
In the teams - It was another swans 1-2. Joe, Lyndon, Henry and Marty taking out the gold with Clarkey, Aiden, Rod and Vinci taking out the 2nd spot. A huge result.
